About

Access(ability) Coalition is a safe space where folks of any age of various abilities and “disabilities”, along with their allies, can discuss the issues facing differently-able people in society.

We define “differently-able” as anyone that is physically, mentally, or psychologically diverse. This could include physical limitations, such as being in a wheelchair, mental limitations such as ‘autism,’ and psychological limitations such as any mental health concern, diagnosed or not.

We are a coalition of organizers, organizations, and concerned citizens based in Richmond, VA, whose goals are to spread awareness, eliminate the stigmatization of mental health and physical health issues, dismantle ableism, and make our world more accessible for everyone.

You can send us an email at access.ability.rva@gmail.com or call our hotline at 804-372-7824 for updates and to leave a voicemail.
